OPEN YOUR OWN FREEDOM MERCANTILE
Bring the Freedom Mercantile to Your Town
Bring Back the Charm—and the Trust
Most towns used to have a mercantile—a place where neighbors met, local growers sold what they raised, and families bought goods they could stand behind. The Freedom Mercantile brings that feeling back with a curated mix of local produce, timeless goods, and a community-first experience rooted in relationships.
We’re now sharing an opportunity for motivated leaders to open a Freedom Mercantile in their own town. This is not a franchise and it’s not a cookie-cutter model. It’s a community-driven approach you can adapt locally—built to support vendors, connect customers to real sources, and strengthen the economy where you live.
The “Member Area,” part of Freedom Mercantile, is structured as a faith-based organization under IRS Code 508(c)(1)(a) and/or a PMA (Private Member Association). Vendors and members engage through private membership and operate by mutual agreement—exercising freedom of contract in a way that supports the community and honors shared values.
